Robert Butler officially began his new job as the director of the VAR Network today. He'll be here in Salt Lake City next week to continue his training and to present his ideas for the VAR program. We've known Rob for quite a long time, as he was our channel manager at NewEdge Networks. Rob was a specialist in retail multi-site broadband configurations and, outside of Telarus, Rob dealt exclusively with VARs (Value Added Resellers) and network integrator who referred new business to Rob on a daily basis.
Most importantly, Rob is a big Telarus fan. He has personally referred many high quality agents to Telarus over the years and he has been instrumental in our growth. He has a huge heart, is super-positive, and he even completed an "Eco Challenge" a few years back (250 mile group race across the wilderness). Rob is located in Austin, Texas - and will be working from home with all of our "in-house" VARs as well as providing support to the VARs recruited by our large group of professional closers.
Now, all of the pieces are in place for the VAR program - the code, the leads, and a leader who's sole job it is to grow and support the network. To say I'm excited would be an understatement!
